This is a very versatile security camera. It is equipped with a 1/3" Color Sony CCD for high resolution 700 Line crystal clear image quality. This camera features a sturdy weatherproof housing, which makes it ideally suited to outdoor applications. It has infrared leds built into the camera which turn on automatically as it gets dark. This allows the camera to see in total darkness for up to 60 metres! The lens is manually adjustable 8-20mm, giving between about 15 - 35 degree angle of view (see lens field of view table).

The camera has a Wide Dynamic Range setting, which allows it to see well in conditions where the image is both light and dark - for instance where the subject is to the front, but there is a light behind, such as someone walking through a doorway from outside. It adjusts the exposure so that both light and dark areas show good detail. WDR is particlarly useful for situations where the camera is facing a window or a door, where the light behind may be brighter than the foreground.

There is a small keypad in the cable, which allows you to set up the camera, with an onscreen display to guide you. (see picture above).

This security camera needs no accessories as it has everything! The cables are concealed in the mounting bracket. It provides video output by a standard BNC cable connection, and operates on 12v DC. It is ideal as part of a security system, and will connect to any of our DVRs. Suitable for commercial or home security CCTV systems, when good night vision is needed.
